Best Bagel in Jersey City, possibly one if the best bagles in Tristate

The queue will tell you that the food is going to be good. The staff is pretty quick and the queue moves fast. Get regular bagels and cream cheese, instead of specialty sandwiches and do not forget fresh orange or carrot juice.

So I have to say my five stars are for the bagel quality ONLY. If I gave a separate rating for efficiency then this place would get ZERO stars. The employees are friendly and hard-working BUT the system for ordering is a joke! There are usually four guys taking orders and filling them. Rather than having a system where people order, pay and then wait for their food to come out, each employee takes one order and then fills it before taking the next. This leads to GIANT lines that wrap around the block and wait times of almost an HOUR. This is a disaster for someone like me who just wants to get a bagel 'as-is' and leave. Each customer has to wait for every single person's order to be filled and served before they can order. I've never seen anything like it before and if baffles me and many other frustrated customers. I no longer come here on weekends because of the insane wait times. And it could all be fixed if they took orders and filled them all at once or if they had some people taking orders, others in an assembly line making the orders, and a third person at the register. It would be so easy to fix and would make customers happier and would make their business a ton more money.

The bagels are hot and fresh in the morning and they have a good vegetable cream cheese, it's great. There is usually a line but it moves relatively quickly. The staff are quick and efficient which is good. Probably the best bagel place around.
