My go-to eatery in the neighborhood. So handy to have a good diner with breakfast served all day right on the avenue. They make a great BLT.

The restaurant's staff are incredibly friendly, and always have a sincere smile on their faces, and willing to pass a conversation and they know that they should not start one. and the stores atmosphere has a very warm and comforting look to it, the food there is good, but nothing special, but i feel like they charge a bit too much for the food considering its quality. 10$ for a cheeseburger deluxe is asking a bit too much to me considering how its rather....well.... generic, nothing about it really stands out for it to earn the 10$ trophy i feel like 8$ for this combo is much more reasonable

I showed up at 2:59pm on Thanksgiving day and they were closed. I saw that they had pies in the display case through the front window and I was able to sign to the guy through the window what I wanted and he obliged. Grateful as I was, I thanked him and headed to my friend's house with the pumpkin pie that I purchased from him after being told that it had just come out of the oven and needed to set still. Three hours later, it still hadn't "set" - they hadn't even cooked the pie at all. I put it in the oven and cooked it for just as long as one should cook a pumpkin pie for, and managed to save an epic fail so that we had pie for the next day or whenever, since we obviously couldn't have it for thanksgiving dessert with our guests. Most disappointing considering the place looked and smelled great and the service was exceptionally warm.

Oh, Windsor Cafe. I've been here more times than I can count. The breakfast food is best (good omelets and frittatas), the lunch is ok (burgers are fine), but some of the dinner entrees not so great (skip the pasta). The waiters are good guys who make you feel like a regular, so even though it's not the best food you'll have, I hope this neighborhood staple is here forever.
