Reviews to Williamsbridge Oval
We lived on Gun Hill Rd. in the early 50's. My twin brother and I were born in 1950 and the Oval Park was the playground we went to and where my mother met other mothers with little baby boomers. I have very distinct memories of the park as vast and its trees huge. We moved out to the suburbs when we were 4. My father grew up in the same building and remembered the draining of the reservior and the creation of the park. 60 years ago!

Could use a more concerned maintenance crew because there was broken glass at the entrance to the playground and the bocce court was in ruins. Children were playing soccer in a dusty field full of rocks.

This place is great! Big, family friendly, and with something to do for everyone. Now that they 'be reopened the rec center it's even better: a great place for community events or for a solo workout. If you haven't been before, check it out!
