Dr. frank Parato ???

We were referred by the Downstate Urgent Care Center (formerly Victory Memorial Hospital). My son fractured the growth plate of his ankle. The office is overcrowded with workers. Wait time is minimal but the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing. so you pre-pay the co-pay before being seen but why doesn't the front desk know that x-rays are required so that they don't have to run your charge card twice??
Doctor does not accept personal checks for co-pay - which I find disturbing. If he does't trust me why should I trust him? But more importantly we saw him for less than 5 minutes and after several calls to the office (none of which were every returned by him or anyone else), I finally called again, spoke with technician who was able to answer some of my questions. My son is out of the cast now with no guidance other than see you in 2 weeks.
Overall, I would not recommend this doctor, he seems too disinterested.
