Good food and good location. Staff was late to collect order (I think they forgot us confusing with people already inside the restaurant), but ok, we were on holyday so why to be in a hurry

The wait staff is less than friendly, annoyed by our presence even, but if that's not enough there was a hair on my decently flavored salmon and the server came out to tell me it was a hair inside the salmon so it was probably mine.
The reality is there were 2 hairs in my dish. The first one I ignored, the second one I reported which was a shame because I was so hungry and disappointed.
To be brought a dish back and told it was my own hair is extremely distasteful. Especially because he set it back in front of me as if I'd eat it. I don't want anyone else who reads these reviews to be subjected to that.
There are too many places to eat in NYC to settle, so go somewhere else and enjoy yourself :)

While this restaurant might offer a good variety of gluten-free dishes overall the food and the service were disappointing. The avocado and romaine salad was on the boring side with what seemed like canned sweetcorn and dressing from a bottle. The "famous" gluten-free pizza base was a little too tough and the Wild Mushroom Penne was bland, and tasted like it had only one type of mushroom in it - the good old Baby Bella (Crimini), which is not something you expect in a "wild mushroom" pasta. The service was slow. It took over an hour and a half to eat 2 courses with large gaps between the order being taken and each course arriving. Our server unfortunately forgot to bring us our beers and we also never got any bread or olives while waiting for our food. It would be nice to get a little bit more attention from the servers and a little more love from the chef. With a little more of both this restaurant definitely has potential to become a hot spot for carb-conscious locals.

The food and service were good, but nothing to write home about. I had the spaghetti limone with shrimp and it was quite good for being a simple dish. Don't think this will be a restaurant favorite but worth a try of you're in the neighborhood and looking for something a little more low key.
