Reviews to Wild Ginger
After deliberating on a restaurant for some time we settled on Wild Ginger based on the reviews and proximity.
On arrival there was a 40-plus minute wait and many people coming in and out for takeout; this made me feel confident that the food would be great, but boy was I wrong! The food was mediocre at best. The roti canai was good (not amazing) but my main course as well as my friend's was HORRIBLE!!! I ordered green curry salmon and it was the worst green curry I've ever had. There was only a hint of curry and my fish and veggies were swimming in green syrup---SWEET SWEET SWEET. My food tasted as though a recipe for cupcakes was mistakenly used for the sauce--AWFUL! My friend ordered a veggie duck dish which was also extra sweet and he left most of the food on his plate. The wait staff were kind, efficient and as attentive as they could be on a busy night. I won't be returning to this establishment.

Every thing tastes sweet. No authentic thai flavor. Place was crowded and I assumed naturally that the food & flavor would be great. I wont go back again. They need to fire the chef and hire an authentic thai cook.
Imitation is best form of flattery, but on a side note here lots of chinese are now owning and operating thai & japanese restaurants. I avoid those. Just not authentic enough.

Not everything is great, but the curries are top notch.

Spent my honeymoon in Thailand so maybe I'm biased, but the food is only ok. Which I guess is ok.

Great, reasonable and quick luck spot. Check them out at lunch time during the week for good food, good specials and a good meal.
