Quality of food presentation at buffet steam table section seems to be descending.. This is the third time I have found the chicken wings in their various styles, I.e. Korean, buffalo, a debate er, that tasted old, tired and dried out -- probably should have been discarded rather than attempts to resuscitate, revive or transform them by disguising them with sugary sauces. On the way to my mouth the smell suggested they were not quite spoiled but not fresh either. Stems in The portion if broccoli rabe were too tough and woody to chew. I remember a time when the food presentation was better and wonder what the problem is?

A fine wholefoods. Fairly crowded and parking can be tight but there are always spaces. Good food, good hot bar with a place to sit. Also, secret bonus - there is a walking path with amazing views of Manhattan across the Hudson.

Staff are generally very friendly and helpful and the store clean. Produce is good. Sushi is only average t best. But other prepared foods, particularly sandwiches and salads (e.g., egg, tuna, chicken, potato, macaroni, etc.) are literally swimming in mayonnaise. Especially in that these salads are prepared by one of the company's commissary kitchens, this is a glaringly odd disconnect for a giant like Whole Foods that stakes a good portion of its claim on presumably providing healthy dietary choices for consumers. Whole Foods could do a whole lot better spending a bit more thought, care and energy on something other than making every known product in the universe a member of its 365 labeled brand products.

The place to be in Edgewater. We like this Whole Foods a heck of a lot more than the one near us now. This one is so nice and big and clean. The only place to buy produce with high quality and freshness.
Make sure to order a Jamba Juice when you get there, buy stuff and then pick up your smoothie after you pay for everything. Then take a walk near the water and look at all the ducks.
