I thought this was going to be my go to place because I work across the street. The Dr. Do a good eye exam and I was excited to start having glasses made there. I but allot is glasses as I change my frames every season.
I took the pair of frames to them, 1 Morganthal Fredricks, ($795.00) 1 Oliver Peebles ($650.00) and Ralph Lauren ($300.00). I asked for lenses with tints and sunglasses for 2 pairs. They told me 1-2 weeks, I prayed them 1/2 up front. I got the tinted glasses (Ralph Lauren) back in 1 week and they were fine. The Morganthal's. A week later. The lenses were fine but they had crashed those expensive frames and glued them!
3&1/2 weeks later got the Oliver Peebles back and the lender wetter totally wrong! They tried to convince me that it was my eyes. But they were just totally wrong. I couldn't see out of them at all. $1150.00 bucks down the drain.
Don't go there unless you want junk.

I have been going to Dr. K since late 1989 he was located on 31st street at the time.

Both Dr. K and his staff have always been helpful from the exam, picking out the frame, choosing the right lenses etc. As the other person that left a review said he will not push an expensive frame on you he actually picked out a frame for me once. He will replace one lens or both or none if it isn't needed.

Wonderful people from Dr. K to his staff I've traveled to NY from NC because I don't trust anyone else with my exam. You cannot find a better group of professionals then those at Westside Vision.

My wife and I visited to get new prescriptions. I was scheduled first; Dr. K was fantastic during the exam. Patient and careful, came out with a perfect prescription. But when he asked me about getting frames, I said we were going to Warby Parker and that's where things took a turn for the worse.

He was visibly upset that we weren't purchasing frames with him and my wife still needed her eye exam. She came out saying he was impatient and rushed her out. We got her prescription filled with Warby Parker and it was completely wrong. Whatever Dr. K wrote down for her was absolutely not right at all and was obvious when we compared it to her previous prescription.

We ended up talking with Warby Parker to get her old prescription filled even though it was two years old just so she could get new glasses.

If you intend on buying his frames, then by all means go here. If you don't, expect scorn.

I had to get an eye exam and buy a new pair of glasses. Seriously loved the whole experience. They're easy to work with and do what needs to be done quickly. It has a "neighborhood Dr." kind of a feeling, a nice space in a great location. So great.

This was my first eye appt ever, Dr. K was very nice, thorough, and took the time to listen to my self diagnosis before telling me what was really going on. The staff was very helpful and kind and even Dr K weighed in on the glasses I was trying on! Overall a very positive experience!
