Westside Academy

This is a great day care facility… our son has been going there for one and a half years and he loves it. The place is very clean, every day starts with washing hands, the ladies take great care of the kids, they are competent, creative and friendly. As for the negative review above, just because a kid gets sick some day does not mean that the place is not clean. West Side Academy is a superb place, and I have seen (and used) different ones in Jersey City.

I had my two children in West Side Academy, I had no complaints. The place is very clean and they took very good care of my children.

I start sending my son to the Westside Academy when he turned 21/2. I believe he is in great care. I never experience anything bad. My son is will be 3 yrs old next month and he already learned to say the American pledge of allegiance. This is a great school. My son is enjoying it there. Everyday he comes home learning something new. Great School.

MY CHILD ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL FOR 2 MONTHS AND WAS OUT OF THERE. My son suffered from allergies and one day I came to pick him up and his eye and face were swollen when I inquired I got a very non-chalent answer. When I got home it got progressively worst. Long story short, I spent the evening in the hospital trying to figure out what was wrong. He is okay now thank god. In addition to mal-care they lost two of his personal belonging. I was told to replace one and bring in a recepit and they replaced the other item. The owner has a friendly face and voice but she is incompetant. I would never recommend this school to a friend based on my personal experience.
Only positive thing was that it was very clean.
