Really great discounts on your more typical grocery fare. If you don't need anything tough to find or organic/vegetarian, this is your place. Good quantities, tons of discounts. Fantastic meat department alongside a decent fish selection.
If you need tougher to find veggies, tofu, seitan, or the like, you'll need to go elsewhere.

Checkout clerks are always pleasant and as competent as one can reasonably expect from teenagers making close to minimum wage. Decent prices, huge selection, lots of meat and the butcher counter employees are are super helpful.

customer service is the worst. Managers are dumper than the cashiers, needs to hire more professional people to work there.

I call this store the Black Whole Foods. Caribbean, African, Southern..all cuisines are catered for. It's the only place around to get a decent goat leg for curry. Be prepared with change to tip the meat cutter, they can get snotty if they don't get a tip. (I hate tipping, and once I simply had no change on me, but that is another argument.) I have been going here since the 1970s and little has changed. Never go on the weekend. For best results go early in the morning on a weekday. Be prepared to wait because most of the carts will be overloaded, if there is even only one ahead of you you will wait. My encounters have been friendly. Avoid crowded times and you will be fine.
