Asalamo Alikum

I am regular to the WMC for many years. Many years of coming to this place,, I have never seen anything like this. With great sadness I am writing this. During the month of Ramadan the holy blessed month of all mouth. People bring their outside personal issues and battle them in Allah house during the iftar and dinner. During the month of Ramadan the WMC spend enormous amount of money for daily iftar. I strongly believe that there are needy people around the world most importantly children who needs food, who are sleeping hungry, the money should go to them, instead of feeding more fortunate people. These people have no appreciation, these people waste food, fight in Masjid, there is no control. People who are contributing for this should think twice. Please brother & sister use your money in right place Allah will rewards you double. I used to enjoy the iftar but not anymore, because of women problems.

Alhamdulillah, great arrangements of iftar.

I am regular to Westchester Muslim center. Throughout the many years the masjid had fundraising event, during month of Ramadan as well to purchase a large house behind the masjid. At the time when fundraising took place the people who are in charge of the masjid had told the public that they are purchasing this house for the Sunday school, to expend the classes and there will be so much other things that will use this house for. This purchase was for public benefit as we were told. People donates so much money and the board was able to purchase the house. Now that time has gone by we came to noticed that the masjid Imam Amjad has shift into this huge house with his beloved family, and now they are enjoying the house all to themselves. No head of masjid has ever mention this to the public. They took the money from the public and they fraud the public. There are few individual who are taking over the masjid and not giving chance to the others. Imam amjad has took over basically whole masjid. There is so much misuse of money at this center. Someone should hire the accountant and bring this individual accountable. I do not have anything against the masjid, it's ALLAH house there should be no complaint, BUT I do have problem with individual who are talking care of this beautiful masjid. In ALLAH names they are creating fraud!!!
