West Marine

Very helpful staff. Very organized

I went into west marine thinking it would be like every other chain store where i would have to hunt through the store for what I needed, and only then to be disappointed of how little the store selling the product knew about it...However!! it was the total opposite for west marine. From the second I walked through the door I was greeted, and asked what I needed help with, I told them, and they proceeded to walk me to what I was looking for, and on the way proposed an alternative solution to my problem, asked what kind of boat I had, and we ended up having an in depth conversation on what I enjoyed about boating, what things would help me out, and just how things work...It was hands down the best experience I have had...it was like i had taken a personal shopper with me who knew everything about what I wanted!!! As far as I'm concerned there is no place better to find marine supplies...now if only they sold everything beyond boating my life would be a lot easier...kudos to west marine for there better than expect customer service!
