West Lawrence Care Center

My father lived at the West Lawrence Care Center for about 5 months before his death. When I visited my father at the West Lawrence Care Center, he was in a day room that contained about 15 patients. There were two nurses. The nurses were just sitting there, not attending to anyone. My father was clearly soaked in urine all the way up to just below his chest and yet no one changed him in the hour that we were there and no one helped him use the rest room accept myself. On the next occasion my father explained to me how a male nurse or orderly tried to "swing on him" and other patients. I was never clearly informed of my father's health problems nor did the staff seem to know. My father dies shortly after at the age of 61. I was not called and when I called to find out what morgue he was in I was given misinformation. It took three different phone numbers and speaking to at least 6 people to find my dead father's whereabouts. This was absurd and unprofessional. I swear that this testament is true and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
