Terrible techno music blasted at ear-splitting volume until 3:00 am, flagrant disregard for neighbors' peace and quiet. Also highly dangerous--each year at least two people are killed at this event, usually by gunshot.

I just saw a video of the 2014 Event, so now I know that I'm missing out on a traditional, cultural, fun and exciting Event!

I saw the very first and my first Caribbean Festival parade in Brooklyn on Eastern Parkway. On September 3rd, not only will I see it again, but video tape it and bring it back to Boston to be put on the BNN-TV air waves...

I remember this parade as a kid and to this day it's remains one of the very best events of the year in Brooklyn! I never-ever miss it. Colorful costumes, enthusiastic attendees, vibrant music. Great fun for the entire family!!
Starts early and ends about 6 PM so in 2010 there is a special party dedicated to the parade at the B-Hive Lounge featuring Caribbean music. Stop by and continue the celebration at 990 Atlantic Avenue (Corner of Grand Ave), Prospect Hts Brooklyn NY 11238. Drink specials all day long so you have to be 21+ with ID to get in!!
