Neighborhood gym, helpful staff, members are part of the reason I keep visiting. The classes are free and they keep a full schedule with options and good timing. The locker rooms are massive, so it's functional for getting ready for a meeting after working out without feeling cramped.

The center announced March 30 -- with 6 days' notice -- that its pool would close April 6 until sometime in the fall of 2015. I asked that I not be charged for April, and that my membership be suspended until the pool is open again, since I use the center for swimming only. I was told my contract required me to give 30 days notice and did not require the center to keep the pool open. So my credit card will be charged for April. I wish this center had given us 30 days notice, too.
