There was the West Elm Cafe and then Brooklyn Roasting Company now - better coffee I'd say. Sometimes they have pop-up shops in the store kitchen (e.g. cupcakes, miso & rice balls) good for lunch takeout.

Great selection of vintage themed items. It's even reasonably priced. The location is a little hard to get to though. Like everything in dumbo..:-)

It's like a select West Elm with lots of nice, Brooklyn-y home accessories. The best part is that there's a bonus coffee Brooklyn Roasters coffee shop in the back, serving up coffee (obviously), some pre-made sandwiches and parfaits and things. They have a few tables and couches around for you to sit in, so overall, it's a pretty chill place to zone out or browse pretty homewares.

Never knew about this place! My boyfriend and I thought this was just a regular furniture/home decor store and we were just browsing but it turns out that it has this great coffee/espresso/hot chocolate bar in the back! The staff was very friendly and was even making jokes with us. I really love looking at home decor stuff, just imagining what my future house would look like. I wasn't particularly shopping for anything but it was great to have a cup of delicious hot chocolate to be by my side while I was in dreamland. The milk was steamed and it was all foamy which is my favorite! The staff even brought my drink to me directly, sweet! It is a very chill place with even a bathroom in the back so if you have too much caffeine...you know, just in case!

Perfect for the people who love West Elm, but can't justify buying new throw pillows every other month. It's still a little on the pricey side, but this store has a great selection of decor and gifts for kitchen, home and garden. They also have a great coffee bar in the back with amazing baristas who do super cool designs in your coffee foam. The store is very community based as well and offers lots of locally crafted products as well as small classes like knife skills! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.
