We had an excellent meal here for brunch. Husband enjoyed chicken schnitzel. Vegetarian daughter and I had a variety of veg options, though they could use a few more. Location is odd, at a somewhat sketchy end of Coney Island Ave, surrounded by building supply and auto supply stores.

This place is a diamond in the rough that is Coney Island Avenue. The corner spot has both a bar area, seating in the front and a back room that's perfect for corralling families on the weekend. I came here for brunch and enjoyed a Hofbrau along with the beef goulash and spatzle.
The staff is super friendly, attentive and boy, do they know how to cook!

Server Marshall excellent. Smoked whitefish, gulasch, chix paprika, bratwurst hits. Loose, unseasoned spätzle and matzoh balls misses. Mexican restaurants play less Latin music. Cocktails schmekt prima. Overall a recommend.

Great beer and wine selection on tap. I brought friends and relatives over more than once and all of my guests had a very great eating experience. Place is fantastic worth a try! Fried chicken and the Wiener are A+
