The best place

Is the worst place ever old dirt and I had a mosquitos in my salad ...should be closed down by the franchise really nest....

Just went to the Wendy's in South Hackensack, I was APPALLED by the way the "Manager" Simmi (sp?) treated her employees. There was a very polite young man taking our order, the people ahead of us were waiting for their food and she comes to the front and starts yelling at the young man "WHERE ARE THEIR DRINKS??? GET THEIR DRINKS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!!!" The poor kid was mortified, he had to stop taking our order because she threw the cups towards him. Then we heard her yelling at someone else because she was "slow", "YOU WERE NEVER SLOW BEFORE!!! WHY YOU SO SLOW!!?? HURRY UP!!!!!!!!" She was feeling her oats, just because her tag says "Manager" doesn't mean she deserves to be one. She was RUDE, demeaning, inconsiderate and in my opinion, embarrassing her employees for no apparent reason. The place was messy and smelled like she has not changed the oil on the fries in a while.

MAYBE, she would benefit from Managerial Training, or better yet a "Good Manners & People Skills 101" course. I felt very sorry for the employees and even apologized to the young man at the counter for having to deal with THAT witch on wheels. Whether you're making minimum wage or $100 per hr., NO ONE should have to deal with abuse. I'd have to be starving to death before I set foot in that Wendy's again.

In my opinion, you can't really rate fast food as "excellent' but in the world of fast food, Wendy's is probably your best bet. At least the food is somewhat fresh and what appears to be better quality. My only issue with this particular location is they could never get the order right. You order a sour cream and chive baked potato and at times, there have been no chives, or butter. Instead, they give you stuff you didn't ask for ie. dirt. There's nothing more unappetizing that biting down on a sandy potato during your lunch break. The people that work the lunch drivethru are seldom friendly, I get it, fast food sucks, but at least pretend you enjoy your job. With the only other selections in the area for a quick bite are MacDonalds or BK, I think I'm going to brownbag it more often.
