walked in the Jersey city journal square branch with a credit union check to deposit in my business account, the teller, an african american lady, said it can not be deposited as a check, i showed her my credit union is clearly saying this can be deposited as a regular check, which makes it clear in 3-5 business days, she talked to a supervisor, 35 mns later, she said she can not, and it will be a collection which will take 5-10 weeks ! a guy with a goatee African american came as a supervisor and said this is our policies, there is nothing we can do, i explained that many other banks use this check as a regular deposit, and they could call the CU to verify, they said nothing they can do, i explained as a business, i would loose the sale if it takes 5 - 10 weeks, nothing, they were confused and did not really know what to do, as the system was giving her the option to deposit it as a check as well. I left, went to the closest Wells Fargo branch , they deposited in less than 1 minute, 2 days later check cleared, and my sale is complete. Management, please use some more competent people in that branch, i could have lost a huge amount of money because of them.

Great customer service lovely people

I always walk in the bank in a pleasant mood with a smile on my face..but today my teller by the name of Dayonna was quite rude and very disrespectful in front of my face..I had $3.30 in dimes .70cents in nickles 2quarters and 3$1 pieces and she refused to take my loose change and deposit it with my other money..instead I was told they Don't Accept loose change so come back when I make the total amount to put in the bags..I find that to be very very Disrespectful..I always bag my change up and whatever remain I always take to the teller to deposit with my other money with no problem..Please train these workers about customer service etiquette or they prolly in the wrong field of work..About to switch banking ASAP!!!
