Great park with a killer track trail. Huge lake and golf course and with the recent upgrade is a go to destination in Newark.

A great park to get your cardio workout on with the I believe 3 mile long track (I could be wrong). Also with intervals of upper body & abdominal workouts and to enjoy the views.

Best fishing and running tracks wonderful. Views of birds redtailhawks and ospereys are seen autumn leaves paint the sky piece of work just take awalk. and see a piece of mind

Weequahic Park has been very good fishing for me and my family! i have been fishing here for more than 50 years! So many great fish!

Has an awesome jogging track! Probably about 1 mile long it goes around a beautiful lake and thru the woods. There are 2 or 3 hills and at 1 spot it does run next 2 a major roadway but otherwise it's very picturesque with lots of birds and animals about.
