Washington Square Hotel

Great location minutes from anything in Manhattan. The rooms are neat but very bare. There is no fridge and not much room if you have kids or you need lots of space.

Very nice setting. The servers checked in frequently and made sure we had what we needed. To top it off, the food was delicious but they could have served a wider variation.

A great experience! The room was small with twin beds dressed in lovely white covers. Being small seems to be the norm for New York but Washington Square made the most of it. I liked the colonial looking metal stairs, faux painted walls and cleanliness all around. But, the star of the hotel is the congenial employees, especially the doormen with warm greetings and quickness to help. Second to the wonderful people, there is the splendid location. It is a walking community with easy access to transportation, close pharmacies, banks, and most importantly, a diversity of eateries.
