I was very disappointed in my experience with Walker Zanger. I ordered tiles for my master bathroom and kitchen. When it came time to finalize the order, I received an invoice which contained tiles which had to be cut to the stock sizes that I had specified for my kitchen. I had ordered them in the stock sizes and cutting the tile doubled the price. I had not ordered tiles that needed to be cut. When I called my salesperson, he informed me that the tile was discontinued that this was all that was left. I felt that I should have been informed of this. I returned to the showroom with my architect and cancelled the order for my kitchen. I kept the order for my bathroom which did have some tiles that did have to be cut. I knew this when I ordered the tile so I was fine with this.
I ordered new kitchen tiles from another company and received them within a week. Your bathroom tile came much later than the promised time. One tile had to be cut, which I knew, going in, would take time. Getting your tile involved many telephone calls. There were several unanswered calls to our salesman by both my architect and myself and many promised phone calls that were not returned. At one point my salesman said that he did not call back because he had been on vacation. Whenever I asked to speak to a supervisor, my salesman was put on the phone so that I could never speak to someone who was in charge. When the day for the promised delivery came, the tiles were not delivered and finally after many angry telephone calls to my salesman they were delivered later in the day. This proved to be unnecessarily stressful for me as a customerl. One portion (the mosaics) was delivered a week later.
All in all, I was most disappointed with my Walker Zanger experience. I doubt that it would be my go to place to look for tile in the future and I would certainly not recommend it.
