Why they even have a drive through pharmacy is a mystery. It takes no less than 15-20 minutes to get helped. I thought it might be a one off occasion but it's always the same.

they told me i need a prescription, for a item that dosent require one, being lazy at its best

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used

This is one of the worst Stores in the Walgreens chain. The store does not employee enough people. There is always a very long line at the register which will extend into the aisles. Although there are 2 registers, management is not smart enough to open the second one or any other register at that.
There pharmacy department is horrible. The attendants never verify any information other than "if you have been here before". Once you say yes, they will not take any update information from you. If your prescription is delayed, you will get an automated phone call letting you know there is a delay and that is it, no other information is provided. So then if you try calling the pharmacy department, you are put on hold for an extended period of time > 30mins.
Try to use an alternate pharmacy if possible. I had no choice as I needed a prescription filled for pain real quick. Unfortunately, the I ended up waiting 4 hours.
