I contacted W&B Electric to upgrade a breaker panel and add two lines for new sump pumps in my basement.
W&B was one of several electrical contractors I called to receive quotes, as part of a larger basement renovation the following week. I explained to each contractor the short notice was because the originally planned electrician was now unavailable, so a quick quote would be needed.
Ken H, owner of W&B Electric, arrived on-time to view the current setup and went through all what was required for the project, in terms of code requirements, as well as suggesting alternatives for the panel expansion, in the event parts or items were not available.
Ken called back the same afternoon of his visit with a quote. Other contractors I contacted prior to Ken had not even called back by that time. While W&B was not necessarily the lowest bid, I felt confident in hiring the firm after meeting with Ken.
After reviewing all the quotes, I hired W&B Electric for the job the next morning and submitted a deposit. Ken was also flexible enough to work in phases, as the rest of the basement was being worked on. I was pleased enough with the work W&B Electric performed that I called Ken back the following week for additional work I had not originally planned. Again, Ken arrived promptly and quoted a fair price for the additional work.
I have already decided that once the weather warms up, I will be contacting W&B Electric for work on the outside of my home as well.
