Vonda's Kitchen

A friend recommended Vonda's so we were excited to go, she even warned us of the slow service! But what we experienced had to be the worst so far! After ordering the salmon cakes with eggs and home fries and my companion had fish with grits and eggs we waited 43 minutes to get our food! When asked why the wait the waiters told us no one told the cook that they had ran out of eggs!!! I'm like how you run out of eggs when you say you serve all day breakfast!!! After our orders finally came half of what I ordered was on his plate and half his order was on my plate!!! The salmon cakes had no seasoning and neither did the fish!! The home fries was the best part of the meal!! The eggs were bland even though I had cheese in them and they never even served me my toast!! $27 dollars later we were extremely disappointed and obviously will not be going back!!! #lotsofhypefornoreason!!

I eat here typically once a week. Love the food and love the people who work there. My only grip is that the service isn't as fast as I like. But the food is more than good enough to keep me coming back every week.

I've eaten here a few times after a friend recommended the place. My experiences with Vonda's have all been positive. I found the staff to be polite and attentive. Oh and the food is EXCELLENT! I will definitely be eating here again.

Our waitress Ms. Barbara was delightful!! Reminds me of being at a family function and my aunt was serving us Sunday dinner. The beef ribs were falling of the bones. I enjoyed my dinner. Will be back soon

My experience with the waiter was terrible he was rude, I saw one of the cooks actually stick her finger in the food not using a utensil to taste the food, the food was cold. one customer did not use his take out tray left it on the table and one of the workers took the tray and put it back with the other trays. I think they are disgusting not clean forget about being sanitary they threw it out the window. I do agree with one reviewers, Vonda need to get her staff together retrained them or bring in a whole new staff.
