Volunteers for Wildlife, Inc. recently moved to Bailey Arboretum where they have a great new setup of aviaries and rehab areas. Thousands of wildlife, babies and adults come through this hospital every year! Just a few reasons include orphaned from tree cutting, injured by vehicles, and sick from poisoned prey such as rat poison. The first organization to create the commonly used Wildlife Advisory Telephone which, while it may be a little lengthy, contains very important information that may be able to help answer your question about your wildlife. Here is a small group of hardworking employees and volunteers caring for many different animals everyday, and will answer WAT questions by the end of the day. Bailey Arboretum is open to the public 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset and you are welcome to view the outdoor aviaries for the birds of prey housed at the hospital, but please respect the animals. They also have great outreach education programs which I have participated in several times! Check out their website for more information and to help find answers to your questions, too!
