Vivo Ristorante

Vivo features a fine Italian dining experience for everyone to enjoy. They have a great bar, a dining area, and a lounge. The price is fair for the great portions they serve you. The area is especially clean which makes the great food all the more satisfying.

I will start on a positive note: The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, the small portions and extremely slow service took away from the dining experience. If you don't have anything else going on, aren't that hungry, and have money to burn then Vivo is the place for you. I rarely leave a restaurant hungry, in this case I did. Very dissapointing to pay over 12.00 for a small portion of pasta. Another 12.00 for a very small antipasto for two and still be unfulfilled. Another thing that annoyed me about Vivo is when you are seated you have to wait 10 minutes to get a menu. Menu should be there when you are seated. The decor of this "fine Italian" restaurant is very nice and upscale looking but there really isn't anything special to set it apart from the rest. If you want upscale Italian dining, Dom Pomodoro in Hackensack or Biaggaios in Paramus are a much better choice.
