The pork chop really was that good. The accompaniments change quarterly. The pasta was good, too.

lets see...we had reservations, and we were granted the priveledge of choosing tap water or bottled water...wow,what a new idea we choose the tap water, which kept us hydrated for at least 30 minutes until our waitress asked us if we might want to order a drink. I think we waited another 20 minutes for the drinks we ordered ....we were asked to order our food...food came..not bad....but if you are being asked to pay a fair amount to money to eat out...to relax for a meal out with your family..you shouldn't sit for 45 minutes sipping warm tap water...before any one asks you if you might be interested in participating in their food experience. I am an artist who spent many years waitressing..I way over tip...never more

Amazing! Everything's here: a good spirit, tasty & healthy, good service, down to earth. My favourite restaurant in New York

It doesn't look like much from the front, but this rustic little bar/restaurant was delightful. Their cocktails are good; I enjoyed the tranquilo, tequila and to the point. Though the trout I had was good, it paled in comparison to the wonderful sides: creamy burrata, fresh salad with shaved parmesan, liver mousse. While I can't say that I enjoyed the fennel ice cream, I certainly appreciated the willingness to have a go at something more creative. Their other desserts, fudge of some sort, homemade strawberry ice cream with cake, warranted some debatably socially acceptable plate cleaning.

Neat little restaurant. They have pretty nice outdoor seating, although it feels like you're in someone's backyard. Decent beer selection, but limited options. Overall a nice Brooklyn/Dumbo bar in the summer.
