My husband and I were looking to buy a coop in Sheapshead Bay Brooklyn in 2013. We found a 2 bdr through an open house, Superior Realty was showing this apartment. We did not have a realtor, so we had to deal with Superior Realty on our own. It was a nightmare!!!! At first we were told that we have to put down 20%, then it went up to 30% and then we found out that Superior Realty DIANA MELERUD wrote an offer to seller herself, saying that we are willing to put down 40% and they signed it with my husband’s name. We had no idea that this offer existed, because we had a verbal agreement through our lawyer. With all this mass it took us 6 months to close. The process was very bad and we almost end up in the court, we were going to SUE the realty and the seller. On the day of closing, we were supposed to get a key from the apartment. Well, even on that day they gave us hard time. We spoke to VINCE DELORENZO and he told us, he has no time to bring the keys to us. Our experience with this realty was a pure nightmare and I don’t recommend to anyone of using them.
