Do not trust these guys with anything more than a hem in your trousers. Even that is a push. They have a new guy who can fit and cut clothing appropriately (for men), but does not know how to reinforce the stitching. A couple weeks after I had him let out my trousers (that were mistakenly taken in too much by their previous tailor Greg), the seam around the backside busted. Do not go near these guys, their prices are ridiculous and their craftsmanship is terrible.

stay away from this dry cleaner at all cost. they ruined all my boyfriends expensive dress shirt, my wool jacket and several cashmere sweaters. I asked to have the items picked up at my house for dry-cleaning and they laundered!!!! everything. how can you throw cashmere sweaters, shirts and a wool coat in the washing machine?!?!?! INSANE. then the items came back to me slopply thrown into a transparent plastic-bag and crushed beyond belief. I opened the bag and saw that the sweaters had shrunk to children size, were pilled and ripped, the wool jacket is DESTROYED, and the shirts are missing buttons and the cuffs are messed up. DID THEY WIPE THE FLOOR WITH MY STUFF?
when I called them to find out what happened they said: we don't care, we don't look into the bag, everything just goes into the laundry. WTF?????
These were some of my best items, I saved up for them and now I can throw them away.
I am not a difficult customer, but when I send my clothes out to b taken care of by a professional, this is beyond your worst nightmare.
how they can still be in business, I don't know.
Disgusting.

I took my Nicole Miller wedding dress there by recommendation of the Nicole Miller store in SoHo. Sure enough they did a wonderful job! The dress was ready right when I called (a month after dropping it off) and it fits perfectly. I appreciate their good service and will definitely be taking other clothing items to Village Tailor. Thank you!

I have gotten to know most of the hard workers at Village Tailor pretty well. you can definitely tell that it is family oriented. I have also recommended friends to this place and they have all been very pleased! I had a bridesmaids dress altered to the exact fit of my size. the seams were finished and the dress looked better than when i bought it. i will definitely be using the services at Village Tailor in the future and i will keep recommending them to friends :) thank you village tailor and the amazing staff!!!
