Villa Amalfi

one of my all time favorite restaurants.

We recently hosted a luncheon after our mother's funeral. When we met with the owner to make these arrangements, we were quoted a certain price and before we even got home, he called saying that the market price for the item we wanted was higher than he anticipated, so he’d have to charge us more or we could make another selection. I think that an experienced restaurateur such as the owner of this well established business should know enough to check market prices before quoting a price. The hot appetizer plates came out looking as if they had been sitting under the heat lamps for some time before being served. Also, when we paid the bill, we noticed a substantial beverage charge. When we asked why it was so high, he said part of it was for soda as soda was not included in the price he quoted us. Not for nothing, you can go to any fast food place and get unlimited refills on soft drinks for about $1. A place like this should not nickel and dime you. We felt taken advantage of as we were not about to sit there and bicker with him over this on what was a very difficult day for our family.

I was here for a Christmas party two weeks ago, my first time, as it was the first year our company held their annual party here.
The food at Villa, is out of this world compared to other venues we've been to, and the room was surprisingly very elegant. The DJ, which I found out was supplied by Villa, had such a wide variety of music, that everyone was on the dance floor most of the night. The only complaint I have, which is minor considering I'm not a big drinker, is that there was only one bartender, which had people waiting for drinks. But I look at this as a good thing, because no one was belligerently drunk.
My fiance and I have decided to switch our engagement party from another venue after attending this party even though we have to take a later date in May. That should tell you how much I liked it.

There are so many wonderful things I can say about this place.....short and to the point.

The food, definitely some of the best around our area.....

The staff, very professional friendly and seasoned....

Come here whenever the chance comes about!!!

Recently attended a wedding here about 2 weeks ago. Cocktail hour spread was unbelievable, cold seafood salad was out of this world! Upstairs the room was absolutely beautiful and the service was very attentive and polite.
Went there today to book my daughters baby shower in June!
