Vicky African Hair Braiding

Went in for basic feed in braids I presented a picture and the braider did what ever she wanted. I wanted the braids straight back she did them curved >:/ . They are done so poorly not only did she glob on black gel after but I noticed that she left chunks if my hair out in the back. The braids were so uneven and big my ear was pushed down by the poor braiding technique. Do not go here I wish I never spent a cent at this sad excuse of a salon. They charged me $80 for 6 braids -_- that I had to take out in 2 days after the over use if black gel crusted and made my scalp look dirty. They are filthy too bugs everywhere very stinky. The braider kept texting and watching tv>:/ I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN THIS COULD BE THE LAST BRAIDING SHOP ON THE PLANET I WOULD RATHER SHAVE OFF ALL MY HAIR THAN GO TO THEM

I love this place because we are talented and we do the best weave in this town from sewing closure down to the braids I apologize for anyone offended our goal is to please every single person and learn every day how to please we will never because buzness is about that thank you

Charges a lot but does good work. Went up on price to get more money out of me. Now why would you do that ? I'm a return client. Anyhow location is near my home and work is nice.

This place was no sanitary at all , there were flies allover the place. i came in for two simple braids, and she over charged me plus she also added 5 bucks at the end. she told me 30 and then said 35 -- i paid it anyway because i just wanted to get out of there. i needed the braids so i put up with it. the braids didnt last the night , and she didnt tie them right. never again will i go to this place. just walking in i knew i should have walked back out. doesnt even deserve one star.

I went for a simple two braid (Corn Roll) and by far the worst customer service. I arrived on time for my "Appointment". When I arrived I was standing at counter waiting to get assisted. After 10mintues of just waiting while she was on her cell phone she ask "Can I help you"....Hmmm Yes you can I had an appointment for 2 braids. She states ok sit right there points to a chair. I sit...and the wait continues....She finally gets off her cell phone 25 mintues later to then start braiding my hair. its a simple TWO BRAID down my head. Explain to me how the line the middle of my head was completely uneven??? and braids are lopsided. The simplest hair style was ruined at this point I'm in salon for over an hour. I came to this location for convenience as I didn't want to travel all the way to Jersey City to another location I had gone a few month ago...but seems like I am going to have to travel next time I would like my hair braiding, because this experience was unreal!
