Verrazano Moving & Storage

Called a month before my move date at least 4-5 times to schedule estimate. Was told someone would call back to schedule and no one did. Finally called again and spoke to someone to schedule date for someone to do estimate. The person came to do estimate and said they would email the quote. Think I ever got the quote ? NO. Would never use them. Use at your own caution.

TUESDAY 2/3/2015 I USED VERRAZANO MOVING FOR A LOCAL MOVE (2X ROOM APT). EVERYTHING WAS PACKED AND WAITING, THE THREE MAN CREW WAS FRIENDLY, EXPEDIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED FAST AND THE PRICE WAS AS QUOTED.....I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME AND WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION RECOMMENDING VERRAZANO MOVERS TO ANYONE.

I adore this company! I've been meaning to write this review for a while but I never got around to it. My apologies because I had a great experience with these guys. They moved my mom out of her nursing home. I was really stressed out about it, but the team they sent to do our move was so lovely. They worked so hard. Non-stop! I guess maybe my mom had a little more stuff than they originally expected, but the foreman Will promised me that we wouldn't go over time. I was really worried that I might have to pay more. And I really was on a strict budget. But these guys did just what they said they would. They worked their butts off and got everything done in the original estimated time. No extra charge! I was so relieved. I just wanted to take the time to share what a great job this company did - and in particular, thank the group of guys who did the move. They were really nice to my mom and definitely helped me get through a difficult day with the least amount of stress as possible. Thanks Will - and thank you Verrazano!

I spoke to Carmine and booked the move two weeks in advance. He was knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. He called to confirm two days before the move. I was apprehensive because in the past my residence and belongings were banged around by companies that did not live up to their word.

On the specified date three gentlemen (Will, Gino, and Rob) arrived as scheduled. They were extremely capable, courteous and treated my furniture and belongings as if they were their own. My wife and I were moving into a new house. The men were careful not to damage it in any way. I very much appreciated that. My parents who, were helping out, were also quite impressed at the level of competence and professionalism exhibited. I can honestly say that the move couldn't have gone better. Thank you Will, Gino, Rob, and Carmine.

I don't normally write these things, but my wife insisted. We just moved from Brooklyn to our new house in Staten Island. It was a huge move. We lived in Brooklyn for over 15 years and you can imagine the amount of stuff we accumulated over the years. Plus we have two teenage daughters. Need I say more? I called Verrrazano on a recommendation from my brother-in-law. They had moved him last year. Thank God for this company. As stressful as this move has been, this company really did an A-plus job and made things go as smooth as possible. Scott, the owner, gave me a really fair price. Charged me a flate rate. He said he did that to assure that I wouldn't incur any excess fees. The move took 6 guys, 2 full trucks, and 15 hours! I never thought we would never finish and I was scared to death that I would be charged extra. But they kept their promise. No extra fees or charges. The guys who did the move were kind and professional. They worked like crazy all day. Barely even wanted to take a break to eat. I was really impressed with what they did for me and my family. There was a guy named Will there who just kept reassuring me and telling me that he was going to take all the stress out of this day for me. Well, obviously, there was no way he was going to be able to do that. But just hearing it and knowing that he was doing everything in his power to make the day go as smoothly as possible - I really appreciated that. And so did my wife. Which is why I'm writing this review. Verrrazano is a great company. I would definitely recommend them. The owner is fair and their movers are really hard working. Thanks for making the move go as well as it did.
