This company by far is the worst travel agency I have ever dealt with. I booked my ticket for my wedding in Nigeria on Nov. 6, 2014 to depart JFK airport on Feb. 21, 2015. When I arrived to the airport, appx 1 hr later is when an attendant saw that I was a bit confused and the only one standing on line 6. He informed me that arik air cancel the flight. He asked me to come to the customer service area where they were able to assist further. It was there that it was revealed that Arik air sent an email to Venture Travel Network 2 wks ago notifying them of this cancellation, however Venture FAILED to notify me (a already paid customer). Venture also failed to answer their phones including emails that were also sent by me. I am crying inside so bad because this was my traditional engagement week and all the money I spent, I have no extra money to spend nor my fiancé. The lack of response on Ventures part, killed a part of me. I would NEVER hear me again NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS AGENCY. How can you get notification 2 wks ago and not notify your paying customer. SOMEONE anyone please advise as to what to do. This is my first time having such a bad experience with any travel agency
