My friend who was visiting from Seattle asked that we grabbed drinks here on a Monday night as she heard all the greats performed here. What a disappointment. The music was fine and the drinks were subpar. What bothered me the most was the man who walked around the bar all night shushing guests. I'm happy to respect the band's performance (in fact, the utmost respect should be expected from audience members); however, this strict attendant was shushing people who were whispering at the bar far away from the stage. A little unlikely as nobody's going to come here on a date or with friends and have zero conversation...

Best Vietnamese Sandwiches! Sandwiches are pretty reasonably priced too, but the rest of the menu can be a little pricey for lunch. Everything I have tried here has been excellent, but the sandwiches stand out.

Far be it for me to disagree with the naysayers, but for anyone claiming that this place isn't authentic Vietnamese, the head chef is from my mom's hometown and it is absolutely authentic. Do it the Vietnamese way and share a bunch of appetizers — they're all great, especially the summer rolls, the chili shrimp, and the grilled eggplant.

This place is a local lunch favorite in Tribeca. At lunchtime it can be rather jammed but the wait is never long. The broths are phenomenal, and the vegetarian crab cakes delicious. We once had a bad appetizer, but not only was it replaced, it was comped from the bill. Great service!
