Vans R Us

Needs a better service, the rest is excellent

I rented a van for a business trip and Vans R Us got everything wrong from start to finish.
1) never mentioned during several pre-rental phone calls that the person renting the van needs to have insurance doc's in their name (never encountered this before in the US)
2) gave me the wrong van and proceeded to call me when I was over a 150 miles away demanding I immediately return it to their office. Informed them that wasn't possible, and they told me that if I get pulled over I may be in trouble with the police since I have the wrong vehicle.
3) when van was returned they claim I stained the interior which wasn't possible in the manner in which we used it. They refused to even discuss. They did no pre-check so they cannot prove stain was there from the start
4) charged my credit card for the damage, but refused to provide me a receipt
5) after calling to discuss, they told me they would issue me a credit, but failed to. Still refused to provide me a receipt
6) after another call, they again refused to discuss damage and again refused to provide me a receipt

They've made mistakes at every possible turn and refuse to take accountability for any of it. I will never rent or recommend Van's R Us to anyone. Save yourself a lot of trouble and rent from somewhere else.

I have rented on the weekend of May 15th. Mike is a great guy. The van that I rented was only 256miles on it. Nice and clean. Nice location to pick up and drop off. I have booked for memorial day weekend also.

I booked my reservation with this place a few months in advance, to make sure I would have a van. But that didn't work!! On my pick up date I called to make sure they had the van ready, and they told me they didn't have MY VAN BACK YET!!!! Or Any other vans available. WHATT!!!! Who the fu#@k does business like that!!!! Disregards people's TIME. They didn't even seem to care about what they just did to me and the other people with me. NEVER AGAIN don't waste your time with Van R Us. they don't know how to run a business. Over booking vans and leaving every body else with their lies of a van. this place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I RECOMMEND TO GO SOME WHERE ELSE!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS VAN R US

I haven't even rented a vehicle with these people and I already don't like the way they treat their potential customers very rude over phone inquiry. Never had an experience like this from a service provider.
