Turn around now. They will ruin your clothing and not apologize for doing so.

Just arrived from Amsterdam, where I visited the Van Gogh Museum. Had my suit cleaned and ironed here, and felt a bit like if my european holiday wasn't finished yet.

- Terrible #123600
Terrible experience after loyally going to them for laundry and dry cleaning services since I moved to the West Village. They lost my blouse (luckily it was only worth $40 and I am sympathetic --- these things do happen). But the way in which the owner/manager handled the situation was absolutely appalling, unprofessional, and truly dissapointing. He was aggressive, aggravating, and wanted to point blame on me. When I kept asking him what the "customer service" policy was, he avoided the question and never returned my phone calls, I had to keep following-up. Such a shame because I actually thought the counter lady and delivery man were nice. I will never go back again. And when I asked my neighbors about it they said, "Van Gogh is the worst!" Wish I would have asked them in the beginning.

I don't know what's with the bad reviews; I live around the corner and have been going to Van Gogh forever. They do an awesome job and their prices are beyond reasonable. My stuff always comes back wrapped beautifully, my silk blouses are never overpressed which is something that's always been a prob with other cleaners. This place is great.
