V V Nail Spa

Horrible place!! I went in for a Brazilian wax. They kept telling me each section was $10 more. They then had two girls ripping my skin off in some places and leaving chunks of hair in other places. When I showed them the patches, they told me it would be more money to fix the mess they made. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!

The worst experience ever. Do not spend your money here- I was overcharged, treated as though my presence was an inconvenience to them (even though I'd made an appointment, was on time, and there was no one waiting), and when I showed them their 20% off coupon on THEIR OWN WEBSITE, I was told that it was "very very old." There is no expiration date on the website, by the way.

Awful. Do not bother.

The employees we're polite and it was reasonably priced but I didn't have a great experience here. My friend and I went for a mani/pedi lunch break and there were only maybe 4 customers in the place so we thought we'd be in and out real quick but they didnt have enough employees. They put us both next to each other but they just left me soaking for like 20 min while they worked on her. the water was cold by then and i knew i wouldn't have time for a mani and pedi so I asked if I could just get a gel mani and skip the pedi. They started to do the manicure and while i was in the chair a customer who was just there came back upset because her gel mani cracked. I figured they were using bad products and just paid for a basic $10 mani and left w/o paint. No way I'm dropping $45 for bad product that wont last.
My friend's toes turned out pretty okay, they did it very thin and she asked them to do a 3rd coat. Overall i was grouchy that I was there for probably 35-40 min and only got my nails trimmed.

basic manicure and pedicure, nothing special. Disappointed that the lady didn't even massage my feet, all of it was done within 40 minutes. Felt like a quick dove through service rather than a spa. Many other places in NYC to go to that charge around $30 with more to offer
