The Shaolin experience is so much more than just a workout program or your typical martial arts training. At temple you work out your mind as much as your body in what Sifu calls action meditation which you can apply to all areas of your life. In fact I have found that the key to how quickly or slowly you progress has a much greater correlation to your focus on mediation than your physical ability, which becomes even more clear when you consider that their are students of all ages, backgrounds, body types and physical abilities who excel in class.
The people you will meet in class come from all walks of life and there is very much a family feel which is another reason why you will find multiple students in nearly every class that have trained under Sifu for years.
