I was tracking a package online. The package went out for delivery in my town on a friday morning and i had still not received it by saturday afternoon. Called the following tuesday and still no update on the status. Theyve now informed me the specific person isnt in (dont even know who they were blaming it on at this point).

If I could give it zero stars I would. This post office is TERRIBLE!!! The postal carriers do not do their jobs properly, they lie and say they leave notices when they apparently don't feel like delivering things. I have had more things damaged through the mail by them that I can even count and they cannot even manage to be smart enough to put the flag down so that you know when the mail has been picked up. One of the mail carriers actually argued with me over this saying it isn't important. Well, maybe not to him, because it isn't his house or his mail obviously. I am beyond disgusted with the USPS. They are a joke. Only thing is they basically have us over a barrel with no other options. They quite clearly DO NOT value their customers and they are hiring just about anyone today to fill positions to young people who don't know their rear from their elbow and meanwhile people who would love a job like that and would do a great job if had the opportunity can't find one. I would like to know who the heck hires these people?!?! If you happen to go into the Woodbridge office there is one man (employee) older man, who is very rude to customers. My friend was in there not too long ago and he said he was right behind him leaving out the entrance door and he saw him and let it slam in his face. This is a PRIME example of the service at the good ol USPS. Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!

Terrible customer service they should put supervisor to see how bad the from desk employee treat people. They should give them a training about how to be nice as front desk, I will love that they close that office so like that we will go to another town to pick up the package that maybe they will be less rude. Just one guy that I thinks is the manager is the only one u can talk nice in these office

Absolutely terrible customer service. I had a small package delivered to my apartment on Feb 2nd. It was more than small enough to fit in my mail box. The item shows it as delivered but I never received. I called and spoke to the post master Tony and he said the mailman was out for a day or 2 and would get back to me. I called back 4 days later and he said he hadnt found anything out and that mailman will be out for a week or 2 now. I asked him what am I supposed to do about the package and he said "I dont know what do you want me to do ". Then I asked "So guess since I have to wait 2 weeks for the mail man to "remember" what he did with my package I am screwed over? Tony replied "Yep" and hung up on me.
This will be reported to the main USPS company and I will follow up with it until something is done.
