My mother send me a over night package that had food and they told her the package was gonna be there the next day by 12:30 pm. I was at work but my boyfriend was home all day waiting for the package. He would go outside every couple minutes to make sure if the package was there (because the food had to be refrigerated) at around 12:30 he went out and they left a note saying that they passed by but that no one was home so he had to go to the post office to get it. He went and they said the package would be there until 4 pm. I called and they were so rude. I explained to them that no one rang the door bell or knocked on the door. After an hour of calling them (because the would put me on hold) they said that the package was going to be there in 30 minutes. So I had to leave work early and when I got there the package wasn't there. I didn't get it till after 4:30 in the afternoon. I was disappointed. They are rude, unprofessional and irresponsible. And I wasn't the only one complaining that they didn't knock on the door and stuff there was another lady there too saying the same thing. YOU GUYS HAVE ONE JOB. And you can't even get it right. Very disappointed!

This post office is so incompetent. I am reporting them to a higher authority. They have lost 3 checks that my family and I have sent out. Also, I had packages that were overnighted. The tracking info says a notice was left on the door. When my father went there, they said they couldn't find it and the postlady would have it.
When we got the mail at around 11am, she said she doesn't have it and doesn't know what we were talking about. I called them again, explained situation to one of the people who work there, she said hold on. Then another person answered and I had to explain the whole thing again. These people are really retarded and stupid.
My mailman Tom is very nice and polite. I do not have a problem with him.

Sorry yall went thru such hassles & b.s. at this post office but I just called there myself & asked about my package. The employee was nice to me & looked up my package, gave me the info I asked about & I had no problem at all. And the call took only about 5 minutes.

My parents were home all day waiting for a Priority 2-day shipment, saw the carrier walk to other homes and drop off packages. No knock, no doorbell rung. Found a "attempted" delivery slip on the door. Then asked for 3 re-deliveries on-line. Got 3 re-delivery confirmations from USPS Site. ZERO deliveries. Called them, was told that the carriers have all the mail and they were making deliveries. Asked them to double check to make sure that it wasn't sitting at the post office. It was still there. The "representative" stated that they may not have received the re-delivery notice. "It happens" is what I was told and as a solution I was told to call next time if I need a re-delivery. So the money and time USPS invested in the online re-delivery system was a waste of time. I proceeded to asked why was there no knock or why was my doorbell not rung? The representative could't answer why. It's now 5 days later and they haven't tried to re-deliver. I'll take time off from work to pick up the package. So now it's costing me more money to have it shipped via USPS because of time lost. Oh, this isn't the first time, but the vendor wants to have it shipped via USPS. So now I'm going to think twice to use that vendor because they choose to use USPS.
I don't understand what's so hard about ringing a doorbell or knock on a door? It takes more time to fill out one of those slips, but they refuse to ring the bell so it's not laziness. What is it? Of course I don't expect them to change. I laugh when I see the USPS commercials, "Watch Us Deliver". Sure, I'll watch you deliver, deliver to everyone except me.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I don't live in Livingston but for some reason my mail is now distributed via their post office. I have an issue almost every time I receive (or don't receive because they can't do their job) something via USPS. My packages never arrive on-time and they always give me an attitude when I want my issues handled. its really terrible how people with a dying profession treat customers so horribly. you would think that they would be a little nicer to customers using their service considering that they should want as much business as possible since the mail is pretty much obsolete. I'd really prefer not to use them at all, amazon even has my account noted not to send items via USPS anymore. There are possibly some of the rudest employees I've ever had to deal with. Stay as far away as possible.
