US Post Office

Worst customer service I've ever experienced, ridiculously slow everytime I go, desperately in need of new staff!!

My husband ordered a mini learning tablet for babies and toddlers. It just came in the mail yesterday and when he opened it it was literally in pieces! We were so upset and when we went to the post office to go get a package that they i guess couldnt fit in the mailbox since they crushed the tablet to fit it which i dont understand because the tablet is bigger and the package in the post office is a small ring why not take the tablet to the post office instead of squeezing it in my small mailbox. By the time we got there they said they had to many people on line so to go back the next day. They are horrible i hate jersey city! I would prefer to deal with ups or fedex !!

I hate this post office! It sucks how all my packages go through here so when they don't get delivered to my home I have to deal with these lazy, rude and stupid people. I've dealt with missing packages (who knows where the hell they went), packages that I've missed because whoever is out delivering obviously doesn't know how to ring a door bell.

Today they wasted my time and I'm so fed up with them. I ordered a book online that I need for school and it came in on a Saturday which I understand why it wasn't delivered because a blizzard just hit us so I understood that packages weren't being delivered. I waited until today which is a Tuesday and saw on the tracking that I could just pick it up. Gave them a call to make sure it was there, the woman on the phone was rude and gave me an attitude and told me I could pick it up as long as I had my ID. Since I really needed this book for school I had no choice but to walk down there in this 3ft of snow and I live pretty far from this post office. Once I got there I told the lady I was picking up a package she just looked at me as if I was stupid. She took my ID went to look for it for 2 minutes and said it wasn't there. The tracking number said it was there for pick up I called to confirm it was there and she goes and tells me it's out for delivery and not to believe the tracker like wtf! I went back home nothing was ever delivered. They wasted my time!

This place needs to close down or their whole staff needs to be fired! This place is absolutely ridiculous.

I sell on eBay a lot. When my packages go south or far west I feel ok about my USPS service, but when something goes to the Midwest I worry because it goes through Jersey City. I sent a package Priority Mail 2 day. It has been 4 days and the only scan is the one from the originating PO. Jersey City never scans. The next scan I will be 5 or 6 days late from the receiving post office. My buyer paid for Priority Mail and it makes me look bad when the package is late. How many complaints do they need to receive before something is done about this?

Horrible, horrible horrible. If I could give it negative stars I would. Will NEVER deliver a package, and then you have to wait for hours. Always just one person, regardless of the long lines. Please use fedex or ups and stay away!!
