December 1st, 2008 - I went to drop some outgoing mail in the mail box on the corner and found it replaced with a green, USPS use only mailbox. That seemed odd - they were still visiting the box, but only to drop mail for the postman walking the street. I figured I'd drop the mail at the train station where surely the box must get more use from all the traffic there, and sure enough, gone. No box, not even a postman's box. When I called, I was told "Some boxes were removed due to little or now use." I'll be sure to tell that to the person I bumped into this morning at the same vacant spot, trying to mail their outgoing items as well. What a way to run a business!
