I hate to see a post office, and the Civil servants, who work for the U.S. government, trashed because the U.S. Postal Service closes the Post Offices on holidays, and other days. People are not LAZY when they work according to the rules of their employment. When the Fair Lawn P.O. is closed -- EVERY SINGLE POST OFFICE IN THE USA IS ALSO CLOSED!!!! At Abbot Street, they have an automatic mailing station, where you can by-pass lines, and tap your postal requests onto a screen, get your postage, and mail your letter or package. Often, a postal worker is in the area, to help people use this service. I have, occasionally, had mis-deliveries of parcels or letters. Nobody, not even postal carriers, is perfect. These situations are handled helpfully.
If you are unhappy that your box is stuffed, when you open it, get a bigger box!
