5 stars for friendly staff, coping with poor facilities.
2 stars for abysmal facilities -- the Post Office looks like it has gone unrenovated since NYC almost went bankrupt in 1977. It is really rundown.
But the staff is very patient and helpful in a location that gets a lot of traffic, is clearly under-funded and dealing with the general lack of support for the US postal system. So quality of staff makes up for poor facilities.
