When I check the tracking number, my packages always say they are in the facility for awhile before they are actually delivered. My packages always say they'll be at my residence at a certain date and will not come until a couple of days later.
But with most places, things can't be perfect and most of the time they do try their best to get the packages delivered under whatever circumstances may get in their way.
