I went there to get free CNA training. Completely useless, they tell you that they want to give you a short assessment and then proceed to give you a huge sectioned exam test and essay portion which will take up hours of your time. Once you are done with that, they give you a paper with your assessment (filled out incorrectly) and send you to the One Stop Center. The One Stop Center will have no idea what you are talking about and will send you to the second floor. The second floor will send you to the fourth floor and no one will know what to do. I go back to the one stop center and they said you have to get there EARLY and talk to a counselor. I arrive early in the morning, they send me again to the second floor but this time I went directly to the ONE stop person cited on my paper and he proceeded to tell me that he has no idea what workforce advantage is in Newark and they are doing everything wrong.
I call up workforce advantage in Newark to tell them all this and get told, "you have to go to the second floor" and "that's funny because we have a working relationship" at least 3 times during my story. They refused to give me any help when I asked if they could call or give me the contact information of someone that could help. I was told to just keep on going and "tough it out"
