I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. This seriously is the worst place. 99% of the staff is unhelpful and unprofessional. Everyone has an attitude and is very unwelcoming. No one answers the phone, so don't hold your breath. There are new rules every time you go. You speak to a case worker then all of a sudden they don't see clients from one day to the next. They don't process your paperwork in a timely manner and sometimes you won't even receive what your suppose to in the mail. No one there cares to help. I literally met 1 person out of the years that I've been stuggling for help from them that is willing to help and seemed be be understanding and talks to you like your a person. The front desk staff is the rudest awakening when you walk in. They just think everyone that walks in there is uneducated or doesn't understand what they're saying. The state should really do something about set rules and regulations because Every year I swear I go though something new. Nothing is set in stone, you have no idea what your walking into. Really wish I didn't need this help.

Very unorganized work when they want to. Never pick up the phones. Ghetto employees

It was the most terrible experience in my life. I was having issues with trying to get help with my children while I worked. I had to continuously take days off of work to go up there, doing and bringing in all kinds of paperwork for nothing. Mind you, I'm a man trying to get help for 4 children in which their mother abandoned them. The case worker had a very amused look on her face whenever she sent me to bring paperwork, which I did, then instead of asking for any and all paperwork at once, she would ask for some here and there to keep me going back and forth just to turn me down anyway. What killed me was the amusing look on her face. What she didn't realize and never knew was that years prior to going there for help, I was one of the participants in the hit single SELF DESTRUCTION in which ALL proceeds went to the National Urban League. Not only do I have a gold record and cassette award hanging in my living room today, but l also have a citation that was awarded to me from the National Urban League. Would I record and donate proceeds to NUL again.....NEVER! When I fell on hard times and needed them, they gave me a hard time and I got nothing in return despite my contribution toward that organization. If there was a minus zero catagory, that's what I would have chosen. Be happy I gave you 1 star that wasn't even deserved.

The associates are rude they're unorganized. They talk to people as if they lack education or are incompetent. The Spanish lady at the front desk is the worst. Eating Cheetos and sucking on sun flower seeds at 9am. Very distasteful and ghetto! Very disappointed

I am a single mother looking for child care assistance, I applied here back in February 2015 and I have had nothing but problems ever since. My paperwork sat on my case workers desk for five months. They kept giving me the run around, that I needed additional information. They Finally gave it to me for JUST the month of August until I finished school AND found a job before August 31st. Which I did, they still cancelled the child care. I currently owe my day care 405. It is impossible to get in contact with anyone at this place. No one ever answers the phones or atleast returns phone calls. Nothing. There's is no proper phone etiquette or proper anything actually.
