A truly fantastic place, great staff and amazing instructors. A great atmosphere to grow and learn as a dancer. An excellent environment for everyone to become the dancer they dream of and I can' recommend them enough. Happy dancing. :)

As a dance professional (performer, teacher, choreographer) I can truly say that the quality of instruction at Uptown is superb. Having worked with Miss Leslea professionally, I have witnessed her expertise, professionalism and passion firsthand and it is difficult to find that combination in a dance pro! Leslea's love for dance goes beyond technique and style, but extends to compassion and care for her students, creating an optimal learning environment. Miss Leslea goes the extra mile, and it is evident in her students! Whether you're a seasoned dance pro or just starting out, Uptown dance has something for everyone!

I have taken dance classes for eighteen years, sixteen of which were spent at Uptown Dance in Belleville. At Uptown Dance I am encouraged to grow both as a dancer and an individual with the support of Miss Leslea and Miss Pat. Criticism is always given constructively and in a positive manner to help me improve and I am never made to feel pressured or as though I am in competition with my fellow classmates. Instead, Miss Leslea and Miss Pat work to foster an environment where classmates encourage one another and forge lasting friendships. I highly recommend Uptown Dance to anyone looking to enroll their child or themselves in a dance class. You will not be disappointed.

i am desiree haenchen and i have been dancing at uptown dance since i was only 3. the teachers are amazing and cant get any better than that. we all like to have fun and show off all our skills that we learned during that year. i have also had the honor to be a student teachers which i cant enjoy more than i do already. the kids are great they love to come and have fun and learn something. i wont ever leave becuase this is my second home. like i have told them before ill be coming when im old with a walker to dance. i love uptown dance
