Unpakt

I agree with the rest of the reviewers, their website is navigable, friendly and super-intuitive. My move from Queens to Jersey City was perfect, and the pre and post service provided by Unpakt was top notch.

It might be a few dollars more than contacting the movers directly, but it takes all the pain away from moving, so totally worth it!

Loved using Unpakt for moving in and around Manhattan! They list all of the available movers in NY for your dates and all of their prices. You can see upfront what you will pay.
They call u to confirm a few days ahead and followup after. Will def use these folks again.

Their moving platform was very convenient but everything fell apart on the move day.

The movers showed up at 10:24am when the agreed upon time was 12pm. I had to turn them away as we were still getting everything ready for the truck. 12 pm rolls around and there is nothing, no phone call, no email from movers. After many calls to the moving company and a few to Unpakt, they arrive at 1:18pm. My elevator time was already up at 1pm and I ended up moving everything down to street level myself. We then missed the move in elevator window that ended at 3pm as well.

Unpakt told me there was nothing they could do because "the move actually ended up happening" but I pretty much had to do everything myself besides drive the truck between locations.

I don't see the value of paying an additional fee to use what is essentially a moving company aggregation with no other value.

Great, innovative service. They made it really easy to find a reliable and affordable moving company; the intuitive drag-and-drop furniture functionality meant I had an accurate quote; and given it was all online I could quickly have it booked. Would definitely use them again!

Can't say enough! The site is incredibly intuitive, user-friendly and the concept of comparing moving rates in a couple of clicks is genius! Most importantly, customer service was extremely helpful and accommodating. I had an amazing experience (who says that about moving???) and highly recommend booking your move through Unpakt.
